The Bachelor of 工商管理 in 业务分析 prepares students for a career in data gathering, 数据清理, data analysis and data visualization in support of business decisions. The BBA in business analytics includes coursework in quantitative decision making, data mining and visualization, 大数据, and incorporates multiple software tools in demand by the industry.

In an increasingly data driven world, the data analyst has become an integral member of the business leadership team. Our students have held internships with businesses such as Alpine Bank, where they work with fraud detection teams, 和高质量的保健网络, where they work on data aggregation in a medical records environment.

Graduates of this program will assist businesses with creating, obtaining and maintaining computer information systems that solve problems and assist in facilitating routine business events. As businesses increasingly rely on technology to provide efficiency, employees with an understanding of both business concepts and computer systems are a necessity.

GoCode科罗拉多

A team of four CMU students led by Professor of 计算机信息系统 Johnny Snyder, 博士学位, qualified for the finals at the 2019 GoCode科罗拉多 丹佛比赛. Dr. Snyder and two team members traveled to Denver to present the results of the research.

GoCode科罗拉多 is a statewide competition organized by the Business Intelligence Center at the Colorado Secretary of State’s office.
